The first step in constructing quadruplex overhead aluminum cables are stranding the individual conductors together. Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded 6201,AAC or ACSR.One conductor is manufactured with an extruded ridge for phase identification.The conductors are twisted together to form a stranded cable, which is stronger and more flexible than a single solid conductor.
The main function of the cable insulation layer is to insulate the conductors in the cable from the surrounding environment or from adjacent conductors. Insulation is usually made of materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). And the conductor temperature of PVC insulated conductors does not exceed 75 °C, and the conductor temperature of XLPE insulated conductors does not exceed 90 °C.

B-231 Aluminum conductors,Concentric-Lay-Stranded.
B-232 Aluminum conductors,Concentric-Lay-Stranded,Coated Steel Reinforced(ACSR).
B-399 Concentric-Lay-Stranded,6210-T81-Aluminum
Service Drop cable meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ICEA-S-76-474
NOTE:Designated sizes are:ACSR 6/1 diameter equivalent and AAC with equivalent resistivity per ASTM B-399 for 6201.
